Left the luggage at the ship and went into town for a last walk through. Bought so,e sheep cheese that was absolutely amazing (and if you know me, you know I would never have said that about anything g sheep!).
Got to the boat around four and settled in. Our room is much more roomy than I expected and the bathroom is absolutely huge for a ship! Had an orientation in the lounge and met a lot of folks from Texas. Not sure what the passenger capacity for this long boat is but think we probably only have around 200 -250. What a great compared to big cruise ships. Really nice!
Had a great meal featuring asparagus (since it is asparagus season in Germany right now and that's where we are headed). The crew on this ship are so good and attentive and bend over backwards to help you. We sail around 11:00 pm. Can't wait to explore the Kinderdijk tomorrow. We will visit yet another World Heritage site. We will see the windmills tomorrow and actually get to go into one.
Will send photos tomorrow, providing we have internet (by satellite and we were warned that it can get spotty when not in a port).
Night all!
